A Knitting Dilemma

August 22, 2012

I love the summer when I have Saturday and Sunday off. I sit on my deck with a pitcher of iced tea and my knitting.  I even have a kiddie pool to cool off in when it gets to hot.

Here it is late August and I don’t want the summer to end.  But now my dilemma is that there are so many new Fall yarns coming into the store that I want to knit with.  I love the lace weight yarn from Manos.

I can’t decide which of the yarns from Dream in Color I want to knit with first.

I love the cabled tunic from Knitty and I would love to make it in one of the yarns from Rowan.  This is the color that I is calling out to me.

So the arrival of these yarns signals the end of my precious summer weekends, but I can look forward to hours of knitting while checking out the new fall line-up on television.

As long as the change in season comes with knitting time, I think I’ll survive.

Did you know that we are now carrying yarn from Neighborhood Fiber Company? We Just received a new shipment of Edge kits, just in time for our new knit-a-long.
